Dear Member(s),

Welcome to the 2017 tennis season which at Higher Poynton will commence on Sunday 26th March.  Whether you are an existing member, a 'lapsed' member or a new member we look forward to seeing you.

We are a friendly club located in Higher Poynton – the entrance to the club is from Carleton Road (approx 100m along on the left). There are two clay courts, which are kept in excellent condition through dedicated work by club members. We have a pavilion adjoining our courts with tea and coffee making facilities (provided at no extra cost!), a patio and well-maintained area of grass should you wish to sit and recover from your exertions.

Although not a member of a league, a number of friendly matches are played throughout the season with neighbouring clubs. The club also organises some tournaments and an annual knock-out championship.  We have a junior section and coaching for juniors and families, led by an LTA qualified coach, may be available during the season if there is sufficient demand.

Please note there will be free ‘Open Days’ at the club on Sunday April 2nd and Sunday April 9th beginning at 2:00pm. Light refreshments will be available (free of charge).

The subscriptions reflect fantastic value, and the full details of which are at the end of this newsletter.  And remember: for every new member you introduce to our club your own fee is reduced by £5.

For further information please contact Karl (Secretary) on 871 146.
